"Ultra-nuisance"

Films: Ultraman Mebius and the Ultra Brothers (2005)

Alias: Yapool (Yapuru), the Alien Union (Alien Temperor, Alien Zarab, Alien Guts, Alien Nackle), U-Killersaurus (U-Killersaurus Neo)

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch location/Ocean/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Ranges from 52 meters and 37,000 metric tons to 303 meters and 939,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Alien

Summary: Back before Belial took the spotlight, one of the most notorious intelligent antagonists of the Heisei Ultraman series was Yapool, a malevolent alien so hateful of the Ultramen that his rage can bring him back any time. His creations are the Chojo, or Super Monsters. And in this film, he brought about the most powerful of them all. Or really, a big alien overlord reunion did.

History: One day, Yapool attempted to unleash Ultra-Killersaurus (or just U-Killersaurus) onto the world, but it was barely defeated and imprisoned in the sea by combined forces of the original Ultraman, as well as Ultraman Ace, Seven, and Jack. The strain of the effort was so great it forced the Ultra Brothers to not transform for years. But then an alliance of old enemies known as the Alien Union, led by Temperor, sought to bring back Yapool in order to take over the world. Soon, it would be up the Ultraman Mebius and the others to stop them.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: All but Nackle are defeated by the Ultramen, but before then, they are successful in bringing back U-Killersaurus and Yapool back. Then Yapool has Nackle impaled for his efforts, and U-Killersaurus transforms into the gigantic U-Killersaurus Neo. The fight is a grueling one, but with the help of Ultraman Taro and Zoffy, Mebius combines with all six other Ultramen to become Ultraman Mebius Infinity so that he can blast through the kaiju, rescue the girl trapped inside, and reduce the beast to a crumbling ruin. Yapool is seemingly defeated for good.

Powers/Abilities: Yapool can create and possess creatures of his making, and his hate alone can resurrect himself and empower his monsters. All of the Alien Union can shift in size. Temperor can summon the Blitz Whip, fire small energy darts/radioactive flame/a great electric beam from his pincers, and use his cape as a set of wings. Zarab can shapeshift, shoot eye beams, fire energy waves from his hands, and summon an energy shield. Guts can create illusional clones of himself, teleport, and fire paralysis rays from his hands. Nackle can fire dark energy balls from his hands, and when combining his powers with Guts, can use the imprisoning Double Crucifixion beam and the Union Flasher beam. U-Killersaurus has electric blasts, missile-like Saurus Stingers on his back, emit the blinding Terrible Flasher, fly with boosters, and extend his tentacles to ridiculous lengths. In his Neo form, he has all of this as well as tentacle beams, his Saurus Stingers upgraded into Killer Warheads, the Killer Eye Beam, the Dynamite Eraser beam from the eye on his belly, and perhaps most powerful of all, the Saurus Full Burst beam from his mandibles.

Weakness: Beings of equal or greater power. Also, if Guts gets knocked into one of his illusions, he will be temporarily stunned.

Scariness Factor: 4-It’s not only a kaiju attack. It’s a strike from some of the most tenacious aliens to combat the Ultramen besides Baltan. All of them are immensely powerful, with Zarab and Guts having the most frightening abilities. But U-Killersaurus, in spite of his cheesy title, takes the cake when it comes to intimidation, even if his final form is a bit heavy on the CGI side. Either way, you take one good look at that sections about all of their powers and abilities and you'll understand why it took so many Ultramen to save the day.

Trivia: -This wouldn't be the last time U-Killersaurus made an appearance. He showed up in the arcade game Mega Monster Rush Ultra Frontier, with an even crazier new form to boot. That which being Plasma Killersaurus.

-This film was made to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ultra-series.

Why do these reunions always have to be so chaotic?

"Make fun of my name and you shall all suffer!"

Quite a shocking backhand.

"Killer jazz hands!"
Feel the power of the Mebius Strip!

"Remind me again why we need all these useless crystals? Guys? Hello?"

"UNLIMITED...POWWAAAA!"
We can't keep track of these posters for long.

Once again, we're wondering which monster was reused for this.

"Behold! Passe 3D effects!"

"No pictures!"

Can we go back to the dinosaur? CGI ain't the way to go, Japan!
